Please join the UB Special Collections & Archives as we celebrate the legacy of Eva Anderson and the Baltimore Dance Theater with the new exhibit, forEva: A Tribute to the Baltimore Dance Theater, curated by Deyane Moses.
Location: The exhibit is located in the Art Gallery next to the Wright Theater on the 5th floor of the UB Student Center at 21 W Mt Royal Ave, Baltimore, MD 21201
The exhibit space is open to the public:
Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.- 8 p.m.
Fridays 8 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Baltimore has a rich history of art and artists. forEva highlights the history of Baltimore’s longest-running professional dance company, the Baltimore Dance Theater, and the artistic director, Eva Anderson. The exhibit features selected images from the Eva Anderson’s Baltimore Dance Theater Collection held by the Special Collections and Archives, University of Baltimore. Deyane Moses is a senior photography major with a curatorial studies concentration at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). She will be graduating this spring. As an intern with the Special Collections & Archives, Deyane has been working with the Eva Anderson’s Baltimore Dance Theater Collection to curate and create both a physical and digital exhibit since fall 2018.
